Breathe with Jörö
When a feeling gets big, breathe in and count to four, then blow a long “phew” out. It’s how Jörö and Ledi calm down, and you can do it anywhere.
How to do it
- Stop and sit or stand still.
- Breathe in while counting to four: 1, 2, 3, 4.
- Take a little pause.
- Blow a long “phew” out.
- Repeat three times.
When
Works at bedtime, in the hallway and in the supermarket queue – whenever a feeling is big.
From the story
In The Presents, tired Jörö gets grumpy and his hair rises into horns. Ledi isn’t scared: she sits down next to him and breathes with him. The horns melt and a flower pops up.
